Educated at University of Michigan, Vanderbilt University, and University of California, Berkeley, Dr. Taylor is a behavioral scientist with a background in community psychology and community-based research, evaluation methodology and epidemiology.She has been working in HIV and infectious disease prevention for over ten years within the most vulnerable and hardest hit communities globally.In her role as Technical Director of Community Engagement for she works with local communities to tailor their COVID-19 response in a way that is sensitive to their needs, culturally specific and impactful. “Like HIV, COVID-19 has impacted communities to which I belong. As a Black researcher, I feel it is my responsibility to use my skills to assist communities most affected by this pandemic."
