Unique Opportunities

The Center for Pandemic Preparedness and Response leverages expertise from throughout UCSF to support pandemic response, including but not limited to policy, programmatic and implementation research.

COVID-19 threw us into a world of virtual workspaces that erased department and physical location barriers on the vast UCSF campus. The beautiful by-product is the coming together of expertise from across the campus to conquer common foes, such as COVID-19 and the health inequalities it brought to the forefront a reality that is not new, yet repeatedly ignored, shunned and unaddressed for decades.
