Katrina is the Operations Manager with the Center of Pandemic Preparedness and Response (CPPR) and leads the operations and administrative aspects of CPPR's portfolio. She joins CPPR after several years working in patient care at UCSF Medical Center. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration and Interprofessional Leadership. She has volunteered for multiple non-profit organizations. Katrina was inspired by the work done on the policy and planning side to reach communities and prevent problems before they started instead of waiting to work with people once they were already sick. She hopes she can someday help create services for communities and not just individuals.
